End-User License Agreement (EULA)

1. License Grant

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, CastZero grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the CastZero software ("Software") for its intended purpose.

1.1 Scope of License

Your license type determines your usage rights:

  • Free License: Limited to 1-minute sessions with 3-minute cooldowns
  • Pro Monthly ($10/₹800): Unlimited usage, monthly renewal
  • Pro Yearly ($100/₹8,000): Unlimited usage, annual renewal
  • Lifetime ($500): Unlimited usage, no expiration, one-time payment

2. Hardware Device Binding

2.1 Single Device Activation

Each license is permanently bound to ONE hardware device:

  • Upon activation, the Software generates a unique hardware ID from your CPU ID and motherboard serial number
  • This hardware ID is cryptographically hashed (SHA256) and stored on our servers
  • The license can only be validated on the device with the matching hardware ID
  • Installing the Software on a second device will fail license validation

2.2 Hardware Changes

If you replace your CPU or motherboard:

  • Your license will fail validation on the new hardware
  • Contact support@zerocast.picabot.club for license reactivation
  • Provide proof of purchase and reason for hardware change
  • Reactivation is provided at our discretion and may be limited to prevent abuse

2.3 No User-Initiated Deactivation

You cannot deactivate licenses yourself:

  • The Software does not include a deactivation button
  • Device unlinking can only be performed by administrators
  • This prevents license sharing and unauthorized transfers

3. Installation and Use

3.1 System Requirements

  • Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum
  • .NET Runtime: .NET 10.0 or higher
  • Storage: 200 MB available disk space
  • Network: Local Wi-Fi router for RTMP streaming

3.2 Installation

  • You may install the Software on only ONE device per license
  • Installation on additional devices requires separate licenses
  • The Software stores encrypted license data in %AppData%\CastZero\

4. License Validation

4.1 Online Validation

The Software requires periodic internet connectivity:

  • License validation occurs on each application startup
  • Validation checks license status, expiration, and device binding
  • Validation requires communication with https://zerocast.picabot.club/api
  • Failed validation results in feature restrictions or free mode

4.2 Offline Grace Period

  • If internet is unavailable, the Software uses cached license data
  • Cached data is valid for 7 days without re-validation
  • After 7 days offline, the Software requires online validation

5. Restrictions

5.1 You May NOT:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or distribute the Software
  • Use the Software on more than one device per license
  • Share license keys with other users or publish them online
  • Bypass or disable license validation mechanisms
  • Use the Software for illegal activities or copyright infringement

5.2 Enforcement

Violation of these restrictions may result in:

  • Immediate license termination without refund
  • Legal action for damages
  • Permanent ban from purchasing future licenses

6. Ownership

  • CastZero retains all intellectual property rights to the Software
  • This Agreement grants you a license to USE the Software, not OWN it
  • Your license does not grant you any rights to source code
  • All trademarks, logos, and branding remain our property

7. Updates and Upgrades

7.1 Automatic Updates

  • The Software may automatically download and install updates
  • Updates include bug fixes, security patches, and feature improvements
  • You can disable automatic updates in settings (not recommended)

7.2 Version Upgrades

  • Minor updates (e.g., 1.0 → 1.1) are provided free to all license holders
  • Major upgrades (e.g., 1.0 → 2.0) may require an upgrade fee
  • Lifetime license holders receive all upgrades free of charge

8. Data Collection and Privacy

8.1 Local Operation

CastZero operates entirely on your local network:

  • Video streams are processed locally and never sent to our servers
  • RTMP, RTSP, and HTTP traffic remains on your LAN
  • We do not have access to your streaming content

8.2 Data Collection

The Software collects minimal data for license validation:

  • Hardware ID (hashed)
  • Device name
  • License key
  • Application version
  • Last validation timestamp

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

  • You may stop using the Software at any time
  • Uninstall the Software and delete all copies
  • Subscription licenses can be cancelled to prevent renewal
  • Lifetime licenses remain valid but inactive if uninstalled

9.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate your license if:

  • You breach this Agreement
  • You engage in fraudulent activity
  • Payment fails (for subscription licenses)
  • You violate our Terms of Service

Upon termination:

  • Your license is immediately revoked
  • The Software will revert to free mode
  • You must uninstall the Software
  • No refund is provided for violations

10. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Compatibility with specific hardware or software
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Specific latency performance (sub-100ms is typical but not guaranteed)

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license
  • We are not responsible for data loss, business interruption, or lost revenue
  • You assume all risk for using the Software in live production environments

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CastZero harmless from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Software
  • Your violation of this Agreement
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your streaming content or broadcasts

13. Export Compliance

The Software may be subject to export control laws. You agree to comply with all applicable export and import regulations.

14. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

15. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, constitutes the entire agreement between you and CastZero regarding the Software.
