CastZero operates 100% locally on your offline LAN router or Wi-Fi network. Unlike cloud RTMP servers that route video through external datacenters (adding 3-10 seconds of delay), CastZero decodes video directly in memory with sub-100ms latency.
2. Which DJI drones are supported for wireless RTMP live streaming? +
CastZero supports all DJI drones that feature custom RTMP output in the DJI Fly or DJI Pilot 2 app, including DJI Mavic 3, Air 3S, Air 2S, Mini 4 Pro, Mini 3 Pro, and Matrice series.
3. Can I stream wirelessly from GoPro Hero action cameras? +
Yes! GoPro Hero 12, 11, 10, and 9 Black support wireless RTMP streaming via the GoPro Quik mobile app or GoPro Labs QR code firmware builds directly to CastZero.
4. How do I add my CastZero stream into OBS Studio? +
In OBS Studio, add a new Media Source, uncheck "Local File", and enter your local CastZero RTMP URL (e.g. `rtmp://127.0.0.1:1935/live/mystream`). Set Network Buffering to 0 MB for instant low-latency playback.
5. Does CastZero work offline without an active internet connection? +
Yes! Once installed, CastZero does not require an active internet connection to receive or decode RTMP streams over your local Wi-Fi router or direct Ethernet connection.
6. Can I stream multiple cameras or drones simultaneously? +
Yes. CastZero supports multi-stream ingest. Assign unique stream keys to each camera (e.g. `/live/drone`, `/live/gopro`, `/live/phone`) and ingest them into separate OBS Media Sources simultaneously.
7. What hardware acceleration decoders are supported? +
CastZero supports NVIDIA NVENC, Intel QuickSync, and AMD AMF hardware decoding to offload video processing from your CPU for smooth 4K 60fps streaming.
8. How does the Pro license key activation work? +
After purchasing a Pro Monthly or Yearly subscription via PayU, your license key is generated instantly and saved in your account dashboard. Paste the key into the CastZero Windows app to unlock unlimited continuous streaming.
