gopro hero 12 black quik app rtmp stream disconnect fix

hey everyone, im trying to use a gopro hero 12 as a wireless action camera into obs via castzero. it works great for like 15-20 minutes but then the quik app on my iphone drops connection. any ideas why?

two things: 1) make sure phone auto-lock and low power mode are OFF in iphone settings so quik app doesnt get suspended in background. 2) pull out the internal gopro battery and run it strictly from a USB-C power bank! gopros overheat fast when charging and streaming at the same time.

taking out the battery and powering via usbc power bank stopped the overheating completely! ran a 2 hour stream yesterday without a single drop. thx a lot!
